Welcome to the Class of Fall '17

This past fall Kappa Tau Gamma welcomed 17 new girls into the sisterhood!  Fall Recruitment Chair Leilani organized a Jungle themed recruitment with events such as speed dating, cupcake mingle, day at the zoo, ice cream social, and mocktails! Also, shout out to our PNM Educator for the fall, Britany, who helped the girls become sisters. Thanks to the tremendous help of Britany and the rest of KTG, we were able to grow almost 50% this Spring.  All the sisters are very excited to see what the rest of Spring 2018 holds for us!

Alumni Tea: April 29, 2017

On April 29, 2017, we held our Biennial Alumni Tea. We were all so excited to see our alumni! This event really shows how the bond of sisterhood lasts well beyond those four years at Catholic. It was great to share stories about each others pledge process and how things have changed but stayed the same in KTG. We are so grateful that this sisterhood still remains on campus as the single standing sorority! We look forward to seeing Alumni again at Homecoming and at Tea in 2019!

April Update

We have been busy little girls over here at KTG for April! On April 3rd, we got a complimentary ride from SoulCycle and used it as study break and chance to hang out while staying active! April 5th was SGA elections and Sister Brianna Howard won as the new SGA President for next year! We are so proud to call her a sister and can't wait to see what she does for CUA! April 7th was Odyssey Day here at CUA and we welcomed newly accepted students who were getting a better look at what CUA has to offer. We gave out cups, nail polish, and koozies, to potential new sisters!! We can't wait to see them in the Fall! April 11th, we had a fundraiser in which we sold Ice Pops in the Pryz to have students cool off and enjoy the last few days before Easter Break! April 21st, was Relay For Life here at CUA and we raised over $3,000 and was the second highest team! check out the relay post in the blog for more information! Relay For Life

On April 21st, Catholic University celebrated its 10th Relay for Life on our campus! We had a ton of girls come out and fundraise, and together we raised over $3,000! Kappa Tau Gamma had the 2nd donations from a student organization! We all came together on Friday night to support Relay for Life and had a ton of fun! Our table activity was stress balls which was a hit among many other participants. We enjoyed live performances and rallied together for loved ones who either were suffering or are suffering from cancer. It was a great bonding event for all of us for an even greater cause! I am so proud of all the sister of KTG for the dedication to service and their hard work fundraising for such an awesome and meaningful event!
