On October 7th, 1953, Kappa Tau Gamma, Sorority was established at The Catholic University of America. The sisters of KTΓ celebrate over 60 years of providing a close union through the bonds of friendship as a social-service sorority.
♥ Happy 63rd Anniversary to all current and alumni sisters of KTΓ! ♥
We, as Sisters of Kappa Tau Gamma, believe in a closer union through the bonds of friendship. Appreciating the benefits to be derived from a social-service sorority and feeling that in union there is strength, thereby form ourselves into an association not only for the enjoyment of the good things in life which God has given us, but beyond this, for His service and His greater glory. Additionally, we strive for the development of nobler qualities of the mind and greater spirituality of the soul and for mutual helpfulness in attainment of individual and social excellence.Through our talents and qualities, we shall promote and deliver critical services to people in need, intending to better serve our community, both socially and spiritually. We, not only as Sisters of a Christian sorority, but as students of The Catholic University of America, are faithful to the responsibilities of the Church and shall encourage the practice of the ideals of true Christian Womanhood, ideals to which we as members live daily. As a Christian social-service sorority, we understand the importance of the academic sanction and strive to promote and provide a harmonious atmosphere where the competency of academics is strengthened.
