Paddle Ceremony Spring 2016

Going Greek Why going Greek was a great decision for me Written by Kelly Reed '18  It’s spring break and I’m sitting here at my sorority sister’s beach house writing this article. It may or may not also be the day this article is due, but that’s beside the point. The weather has been perfect all week and we have done everything from shopping in Charleston, to visiting friends at the University of South Carolina (USC) and everything in between.  That’s when it hits me. It’s Friday. It’s the end of spring break and I’m just sitting here eating dunkers and milk out of a plastic cup. The realization that I have to go back to reality just hit me like a bus. But for some reason, my mind isn’t focused on the amount of work that has piled up just yet. I’m more focused on the amazing spring break I just had with a group of girls I would have never been friends with, or even know, if it hadn’t been for Greek life.  I go to Catholic University of America (CUA) and Greek life is not
