MLK Day of Service

On Monday, January 16th, almost a thousand members of the CUA gathered to celebrate the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. by going out in the city to serve others. Kappa Tau Gamma was one of many organizations to volunteer. Our social service sorority volunteered with City Year, an organization focused on educating young students from low-income homes. There, sisters painted benches to be placed outside of Dorothy I. Height, an elementary school located in the heart of the District. Overall, it was an enjoyable day serving the community and embodying our motto, "We can change the world."

Welcome to the Class of Fall '17

This past fall Kappa Tau Gamma welcomed 17 new girls into the sisterhood!  Fall Recruitment Chair Leilani organized a Jungle themed recruitment with events such as speed dating, cupcake mingle, day at the zoo, ice cream social, and mocktails! Also, shout out to our PNM Educator for the fall, Britany, who helped the girls become sisters. Thanks to the tremendous help of Britany and the rest of KTG, we were able to grow almost 50% this Spring.  All the sisters are very excited to see what the rest of Spring 2018 holds for us!

Alumni Tea: April 29, 2017

On April 29, 2017, we held our Biennial Alumni Tea. We were all so excited to see our alumni! This event really shows how the bond of sisterhood lasts well beyond those four years at Catholic. It was great to share stories about each others pledge process and how things have changed but stayed the same in KTG. We are so grateful that this sisterhood still remains on campus as the single standing sorority! We look forward to seeing Alumni again at Homecoming and at Tea in 2019!
