PNM Fall 2014 Class President,
looking back:
It’s the first week of my first year of college, I’m gathering with a group of women that I have never met, and they are all talking about bows and Lilly Pulitzer. This group is called Kappa Tau Gamma. As I am surrounded by what seems like a million girls all saying where they are from and what their major is, I think to myself, “what even is this so called Kappa Tau Gamma?”
Two and half months later, I know what that so called Kappa Tau Gamma is. It is home. It is a place where you feel so familiar that when something isn’t about KTG, you feel like you don’t belong. After dedicating a semester almost solely to Kappa Tau Gamma, becoming a sister was the most amazing feeling. The bond that was created between fifteen girls over the course of the weeks that we spent being each other’s biggest supporters, is one that will forever be in my heart. It was the greatest joy watching fourteen of my soon to be sisters turn into beautiful swans by my side.
“I wear my letters on my front because I know that my sisters always have my back.”
Roses forever.
xoxo, Sister SouthernComfortt
